Pasta with Tuna & White Beans

This recipe is fantastic warm and/or cold. Either your enjoying lunch or dinner at home or preparing for a seaside barbecue, this pasta recipe will certainly come in handy.

300g Waitrose LOVE Life Wholewheat Fusilli
400g can essential Waitrose Cannellini Beans, drained
1 tbsp olive oil
2 large leeks, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
200g can essential Waitrose Tuna Steak in Spring Water, drained
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling water according to packet instructions, adding the beans for the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain loosely so the pasta retains a little water and return to the pan.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the leeks, garlic and chilli for 5 minutes until softened.

Add the tuna, leek mixture, vinegar and parsley to the pasta and beans and mix well together. Divide between bowls and serve with a good grinding of black pepper.
