Kisksu (Traditional Broad Bean Soup)
Serves 4
4 cups full of peeled broad beans (taken out of the first outer shell)
1 cup of fresh peas (or frozen)
1 large onion – peeled and finely chopped
1 large carrot – peeled and finely chopped
1 potato – peeled and finely diced
100 grams of kisksu pasta
4 fresh sheep cheeslets (gbejniet)
1 heaped tbsp tomato paste (kunserva)
2 litres of boiling water
Cooking oil
Salt and pepper
