Condiments for the BBQ

Let’s spice it up this Summer. Using the 4 basic sauces present in most kitchen cupboards – Ketchup, BBQ sauce, Mayonnaise and Mustard – we set out to create a collection of condiments with a twist. Our suggestions might just be the perfect touch for the BBQ season. They go perfectly well with sausages, homemade burgers, kebabs, grilled chicken, lamb chops, steaks, pork cuts and some, even with grilled fish such as salmon. The strength of flavours is entirely up to you. Experiment with the quantities as you prefer.


Sweet Chilli and Tomato Mayonnaise
Diced tomato and some sweet chilli.

Cranberry Mayonnaise
Cranberry Sauce and dried cranberries.

Fresh herb and Lemon
Chopped fresh herbs (like parsley, mint and basil) and lemon zest.


Fruity BBQ Sauce
Grated green apple, finely chopped dates and orange zest.

Smokey Bacon BBQ Sauce
Cooked onion, cooked bacon and some hot sauce


Salsa Ketchup
Diced tomato, diced orange pepper and sweet corn

Sweet and Spicy Tomato Ketchup
Hot sauce, soy sauce, pineapple juice and some honey


Horseradish Mustard
Horseradish sauce and mayonnaise

Honey Thyme Mustard
Local honey, fresh thyme flowers and some chilli
