Stacker/Storekeeper

Basis: Full-time
Location: Gozo

We are seeking to recruit an individual to carry out stacking and storekeeping duties on a full-time basis at our Foodstore in Arkadia, Gozo. The selected candidate will report to the Duty Manager and will be responsible to ensure there is adequate stock maintained for sale at the Foodstore, as well as ensuring proper receipt, storage, and overall management of stock.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible to check and ensure adequate stock levels on display to maximise sales.
  • To submit orders electronically and forward to Duty Managers for approval.
  • To receive incoming stock and perform adequate checking of both quality and quantity of items received as per suppliers’ invoice.
  • Maintain cleanliness on shelves and to keep the section well organized and well merchandized.
  • Maintain high quality customer interaction.
  • Being a team player and assist colleagues where and when needed.
  • To ensure the proper handling and usage of stock while the stock is being transferred from the supplier trucks onto the loading bay.
  • To plan adequate storage of incoming stock to maximize the use of space and to ensure we are not overstocked.
  • To make sure that the FIFO principle is in place when items are stacked.
  • To ensure that the stores are maintained in order and kept clean.

Temperature Screener

Basis: Part-time

We are seeking to recruit temperature screeners on a part-time basis for the Arkadia Commercial Centre in Gozo. The selected candidates will be responsible to ensure that all clients and employees hold a temperature between 36.5°C and 37°C and that the Complex retains its maximum capping of people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers properly.
  • Taking the temperature of all incoming customers and employees.
  • Following established protocols for COVID-19 screening upon staff arrival at the Complex.
  • Ensuring customers are aware and follow the Company’s COVID-19 preventative measures protocol.
  • Ensuring the area is properly sanitized throughout the day.

Accounts Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. The prospective candidate will form part of the finance team in Malta.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the processing of invoices and reconciling supplier statements and payments.
  • Ensuring that all documents are properly and adequately filed.
  • Reconciling and monitoring stock movements.
  • Ensuring that invoices have the proper authorisation for processing.
  • Preparing payments to suppliers monthly.

We are seeking to recruit a part-time Security to join the team at Arkadia Gozo. The selected candidate would report to the Head of Security and be responsible to keep the premises safe at all times and report any issues, as well as perform health and safety inspections.

Responsibilities include:

  • Make continuous and regular inspection checks in and around the whole building, ensuring that everything is properly secured and being on the lookout for any irregularities.
  • Ensure that the premises are opened and closed at the scheduled business hours, turning on and off all lighting as appropriate.
  • Liaise with external entities such as the Police, in cases of incidents.
  • Handle cases of theft courteously and lawfully.
  • Monitor the security screens on a regular basis looking for any irregular activity.
  • Administer first aid assistance if required.
  • Act as a custodian in all cash-handling operations, including collections and deposits from/to the bank.
