We are looking to recruit a Foodstore Floor Duty Manager to join our growing Foodstores Team in St. Julians.  The selected candidate shall be responsible to oversee all operations and provide necessary training to new recruits.

Responsibilities include:

We are looking to recruit a Foodstore Supervisor to join our growing Foodstores Teams in St. Julians.  The selected candidate shall be responsible to support the Duty Manager in overseeing all operations and training to new recruits.

Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently looking to recruit a Full-time Maintenance Supervisor to take responsibility of the maintenance and inspection of all outlets at Arkadia Gozo. The selected candidate would also be required to train and coach other members of the Maintenance team whilst reporting to the Property and Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of company premises and equipment, both mechanical and electrical, in a preventative manner.
  • Overseeing new projects.
  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety guidelines are being adhered to.
  • Updating weekly rosters, utilizing resources productively and within budgetary limits.
  • Reviewing and inspecting all premises and equipment regularly.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Being able to communicate in Maltese is considered an asset.
  • Have previous experience in General Maintenance duties.

Logistics Officer

We are currently looking to recruit a Full-time Logistics Officer to perform various administrative duties within the Logistics Department. The role also entails driving the Company van to collect and deliver goods.   • Effecting transfer of goods between departments

Storekeeper

We are currently seeking to recruit a Full-time Storekeeper for either two of our outlets in Malta and Gozo. The selected candidate would be responsible for the receiving and storing of stock and the overall organisation of the store. The Storekeeper would report to the Foodstore Duty Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To receive incoming stock, performing adequate checking of both quality and quantity of items received.
  • To plan adequate storage of incoming stock in order to maximize the use of space and to ensure we are not overstocked.
  • To ensure the proper handling and usage of stock while in storage and while being introduced in the supermarket.
  • To assist as necessary in the stacking of stock in the supermarket.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Good oral and written skills in English.
  • Fluent in Maltese. Any other language is considered an asset
  • Able to use the computer and Microsoft Office applications.

We are seeking to recruit a Full-time Driver whom we can rely on to deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The selected candidate shall not only be responsible for the goods to be delivered, but also for the general up-keeping of the company delivery van. Drivers report to the Foodstore Duty Manager.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading merchandise to be delivered to and from delivery destinations
  • General maintenance of the vehicle and reporting any problems to the Supervisor
  • Reporting any damages or discrepancies in the goods delivered to the Foodstore Manager
  • Maintain the loading bay and the trolleys’ cleanliness
  • Greeting customers, processing payments and assisting them with their needs and requirements

The ideal candidate would:

  • Hold a valid driving license B
  • Be able to speak, read and write fluently in English
  • Be computer literate
