Iced Tea

Impress your guests or simply treat yourself to a healthy version of this all-time favourite drink. Use any herbal tea bags you have at home and add any fruit, some sugar or honey….lots of ice and voila! Homemade iced teas this summer!

Nectarine (or Peach) Ice Tea

Ingredients per glass

1 Regular Tea Bag
70ml Boiling Water
6-10 Ice Cubes
Sliced Nectarines or Peaches
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
A Squeeze of Lemon

Cranberry, Ginger &Apple Ice Tea

Ingredients per glass

1 Cranberry Tea Bag
70ml Boiling Water
6-10 Ice Cubes
Sliced Green Apple & Ginger
1 Tbsp Honey
A Squeeze of Lemon

Lime, Raspberry & Honey Ice Tea

Ingredients per glass

1 Raspberry Tea Bag
70ml Boiling Water
6-10 Ice Cubes
Sliced Lime
2 Tbsp Honey
A Squeeze of Lemon

METHOD

Boil water and infuse tea bag to make a very very strong tea. Stir in the sugar or honey until it all melts. Remove tea bag, add lemon juice, stir and add the fruit and ice cubes. Do not add water, the cubes will start to melt quite quickly! Chill in the fridge if you need to cool down further.
